A Love That Was....

The past weeks have been lovely for me...ive had more smiles in the mornings and during the day...
my heart is happy....can it be?
At first when i started blogging, i wanted to just write out what was on my mind and heart, but i was just inspired by this feeling and thought, to write a poem, haha.. feel poetic la... this is what i came up with...*smiles*

(PART 1)
A Love That Was….

The first time i met you, a romantic place to be,
But a time when my heart isnt ready to see.
Blinded by hurt, confused with love,
An emotional war, fought in my cove.

A while went by, like a hermit i hid,
And somethings just happened, the way it did.
Soon in time, my emotions renew,
For my heart and mind, in time they grew.

My heart made vulnerable, as time when by,
I thought little and hard, i wondered why.
Realised my hurt and confusion relieved,
For my heart felt love, ready to receive.

Opened so beautifully, only to be let down,
Why somethings, just soon came around.
The guilt and pain, just flowed like water,
My heart again, regret and falter.

Feeling helpless, I can’t take back,
Reflected i did, to guide me on track.
My weakness, i recalled, caused me to fumble,
From this came good, i was made humble.

But Yet, again, my heart turned cold,
Away from feeling, again in my mold.
